One of the main aims and objectives of Young Devon is to provide support services to local voluntary and community youth groups that work primarily with 13 to 19 year olds and also to enable the organisations to develop policies, particularly with regard to:
In addition to that there are template forms available that can be adopted for a range of needs, including: risk assessment record sheets, health & safety display sheets, accident forms and parental consent forms, etc.
Young Devon also has access to a wide range of benefits for members including access to membership of the NACYP (National Clubs for Young People) and UK Youth; eligibility to participate in the annual UK Youth Boxing Championships and preferential insurance rates for clubs arranged through BJK Insurance
Membership is renewable annually from April until the following March.
