Youngdevon's Annual Review 2006/2007
Five young women on The RnB project have recently won the Youth Achievement award (group category) 2008, for their outstanding efforts in working hard to tackle their risk taking behaviour over the last 2 years. The young people decided to produce a DVD of their life stories to firstly celebrate their achievements and secondly show the DVD to other young people who have shared similar adversities to them. We applied for some funding from media Box and were granted a sum of money for the young women to attend workshops on editing, script writing and filming; they then produced a short film of their histories.
